Friendly Home Care is a fully licensed agency by the New York State Department of Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. Servicing Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Staten Island, Richmond, Westchester, and Bronx. It provides home care services that allow seniors to remain safely in their own homes while receiving assistance with personal care and other daily activities.
This agency provides home care assistance, however, some reviews have mentioned their weaknesses regarding logistics and organization of the caregivers. It means that complaints have been filed due to delays in assigning care workers. Moreover, plenty of clients have shown their discontent due to some caregivers’ lack of training, the services regarding in-home assistance (meal preparation, personal hygiene care, medication reminders, emotional support, etc.) sometimes are not of the expected quality and do not meet patients’ expectations.
Clients have also complained about its customer support staff. Some of them have stated that they have received rudeness and impolite treatment during calls, or that they don't even get an answer from their phone lines and sometimes the waiting time is too long that clients have spent almost their entire days without an answer.
